for a Toyger?
When you see
Welcome to Xcellant Toyger!
The first and only Toyger breeder in Malaysia, a TICA registered home cattery located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Xcellant is also a proud member of Toyger Cat Society, one of the largest communities amongst Toyger breeders worldwide. The Society has a specific Code Of Ethics that aims to keep breed pure and protected from inappropriate breedings. As members we are very committed to follow these rules. We don’t sell any breeder cats outside of TCS members. Our primary goal is to breed healthy and goodnatured Toygers that most resembles the wild tigers.
“When you see a Toyger… you will instantly know why it has been given this name: it looks like a miniature toy tiger!“
One look and its clear where the cat gets its name!
Because it looks as its name suggest… a Toy Tiger.. “Toyger”!
With its dramatic striped and glittered pelt, the Toyger is being bred to resemble the tigers in the wild but in a package that fits easily into our modern homes and the laid-back nature of an easy going and highly intelligent domestic cat.
The Toyger is a friendly outgoing cat that delights in being with people. They are highly intelligent and interactive cats that also get on well with other pets. Their intelligence means that are easy to train and can be taught to go for walks on a leash and to play fetch. Their laid-back personalities make them easy to live with and so fit easily into the household.
Originally developed and created by Judy Sugden in the late1980’s, her goal is to help inspire more people to care for wild tiger conservation.
In 2001 Judy Sugden and associates started the Toyger Cat Society (TCS) and has written specific Code Of Ethics that aims to keep the breed pure and protected from inappropriate breedings. As a proud member of TCS and inspired by the wild tiger conservation, Xcellant Cattery have pledged to donate part of the proceeds from kitten sales to tiger conservation in particular the WWF Malayan Tiger Conservation.
